Everything people ask before they start. Still stuck? Message us — we answer every day.
WA Link is a WhatsApp messaging API. You connect your own WhatsApp number and then send and receive messages through a simple HTTP API — useful for one-time passwords, order updates, reminders, invoices and customer support replies. It suits any CRM, ERP, shop or in-house application that needs to reach customers on WhatsApp.
Register with your WhatsApp number, activate a plan, then open Account, press Play on your instance and scan the QR code to connect your number. You can send your first message straight after that.
The Starter plan is a paid 5-day plan at a low price so you can test properly before committing to a month. If you want to try before that, message us on WhatsApp and we will set you up.
Both work.
Text, images, audio, video and documents, with delivery and read receipts returned to your application. You can also create and manage instances, set webhooks and subscribe to events.
No. WA Link is for messages your recipients are expecting — their own orders, codes, reminders and replies. Unsolicited bulk messaging, cold outreach and purchased contact lists are against our Terms and will close your account. They are also the fastest way to get your number banned by WhatsApp, which we cannot reverse.
A connected number is an ordinary WhatsApp number, so we recommend no more than around 250 messages a day per number. Staying inside that, and only messaging people who opted in, is what keeps a number healthy.
Yes. A key belongs to a connected number and can be used from as many of your own applications as you like.
No. Your phone does not need to be online all the time, but you should open WhatsApp on it at least once every 14 days, otherwise you will need to reconnect from your dashboard.
Yes, if your plan includes more than one account. The plan page shows how many.
Yes, at any time, from Accounts → Instance Management.
If your plan connects several numbers, sending can be spread across them so no single number carries the whole volume. It is there to keep numbers healthy, not to enable bulk sending.
Plans named with /day reset every night: a 200/day plan gives you 200 messages each day for the length of the plan. Plans named total give you one allowance for the whole month with no daily cap — a 6,000 total plan lets you send all 6,000 in a single day if you want to.
Sending pauses. Your connected numbers, contacts and message history are all kept — everything starts working again the moment you renew. We email you three days before expiry, and again on the day.
Cards are handled by Dodo Payments as our Merchant of Record, and several local methods are offered at checkout. Plans are prepaid and never auto-renew. You can request a full refund within 7 days if the plan is substantially unused — see the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
We target 99.9% uptime, patch quickly, and answer support email every day. Delivery itself depends on the WhatsApp platform and on your recipients’ devices, which no provider controls.
Meta’s official API needs business verification, a phone number that is not already on regular WhatsApp, and pre-approved templates, and it bills per 24-hour conversation. WA Link uses the number your customers already know, needs no approval, and charges a flat plan fee with no per-message cost. It is not officially supported by Meta, which is the trade-off. There is a full side-by-side comparison on the home page.
No. WA Link is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by WhatsApp LLC or Meta Platforms, Inc.
