About WA Link

What WA Link does

WA Link is a WhatsApp messaging API. You connect your own WhatsApp number to an instance on our platform, and from then on you can send and receive messages over a simple HTTP API — one-time passwords, order and delivery updates, appointment reminders, invoices and receipts, and replies to your own customers.

Why teams use it

Straightforward integration. A single HTTP endpoint, a token, and a few lines in whatever language you already use. Most teams send their first message the same afternoon.

Text, media and documents. Send plain text, images, audio, video, PDFs and other documents, and read delivery and read receipts back.

Your own number. Messages come from the number your customers already know, not from a shortcode they will not recognise.

Multiple numbers on one plan. Larger plans connect several numbers, so different teams or brands can share one integration.

Security first. HTTPS everywhere, per-account revocable tokens, and message content used for nothing except delivering it and showing you your own logs.

How we expect it to be used

WA Link is for conversations your recipients are expecting. It is not a bulk-marketing tool: sending to people who have not opted in gets numbers banned by WhatsApp, and it is against our Terms. We would rather have customers whose numbers keep working.
